installer! (presque)

10:07 AM

PRAISE EVERYTHING HOLY After 6 days and 8 apartment visits, I have FINALLY found myself a place to live!!!

No more are the days of staring lustingly at espresso cups and home decor waiting until I had a reason to purchase them!

FREE are my sweaters, pants, and t-shirts adorned with profanities from the confines of their vacuum-sealed prisions (FUCK SWAG, that means you!)!

No longer am I threatened by the potential of leading the  bleak life of a gypsy!

The apartment is close to the gare (otherwise known as the train station for those of you tragically afflicated with the virus that is monolinguism) and has three rooms that share a kitchen and toilet/shower, which is strangely......within the kitchen. The bedroom is fully furnished and has a window that overlooks the street, PERFECT for people watching. I move in tomorrow and am soooooo excited to finally have a place of my own!

In other news, I also opened a bank account, and each time I signed my name and wrote 'lu et appouvé'  I could feel my business law professor rolling over in her grave (metaphorically speaking) since I barely understood the words I was reading. But ummmm.....yolo?

ming.
